We held our Annual Walk on Sunday 7 November, and this year it was a little different from previous years.
We decided to hold the event from our Unit, and to invite everyone back at the end of the walk to share hot food and drinks with us.
The weather leading up to the day was very wet and blustery and holding a walk at this time of year is always a gamble, however we were blessed when over 120 people turned up to walk with us and celebrate Milly’s 18 Birthday.
It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces along with some new faces and seeing everyone there wrapped up against the elements just warmed my heart.
The food went down a treat after the walk as did the licenced bar!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, you played a huge part in making Milly’s birthday so very special.
Up to now we have raised over £1,000 and still have donations coming in.
You are all wonderful people, thank you for supporting us, we hope to see you again next year.
