We were rushed into hospital and initially did not know how long we would be here (it will be a full month, most likely).
When your bag arrived, with all its jolly colours it really put a smile on our faces. Teddy loved the blanket and we spent the first day of chemo snuggled up together underneath it.
I was so touched that somebody had thought of all the little touches to make our lives that bit easier – from the wheat bag to help with the pain after the lumbar puncture to a really lovely quality towel to improve the hospital showering experience.
