Runners take on the Lands End to John O’Groats challenge

Over the last 10 months Tess and friends have been taking on a charity challenge of running the distance of Lands End to John O Groats, which is a total distance of 874 miles.
There have been 50 runners taking on this challenge with some as far away as Australia.
Milly’s Smiles are thrilled to be one of the charity’s that they have been supporting.
Tess’s son Drew was aged 13 when he was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with leukaemia in the lymph nodes and an 8cm tumour behind his nose.
Drew was treated at Ward 84 at Royal Mancehster Children’s Hospital and it was here that he received his Milly Bag.
Thankfully Drew is doing really well and is home and in remission.
We received £2077.52 this week which is just amazing. We are so in awe of this challenge and very grateful to Tess and everyone involved. Thank you so much for choosing Milly’s Smiles, we feel very blessed.
